Case Study – Water Unite.
We helped establish Water Unite as a charity with the Charity Commission alongside Wellers Impact where the charity wanted to establish an investment fund that invested in small to medium sized enterprises in developing countries focused on the environment and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) which aligned with Water Unite’s own charitable objects.
The structure is unique in that Water Unite have the right to appoint a representative to the investment committee of the Fund to ensure that Water Unite’s charitable objects are being furthered and to help measure the impact of the Fund’s investees.
